It was great to welcome all the staff and students back last week. It was also nice to see all the students embrace the expectation of wearing their hats and the importance of being sun safe at school.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Fitzgerald who has been unwell over the last few weeks. We wish him a speedy recovery and can’t wait to welcome him back, hopefully this week.
The students enjoyed visiting Healthy Harold throughout last week. At the end of each day Liz commented to me just how engaged and respectful the students were when attending the sessions. Hopefully they will be able to share with you what they have learnt about being healthy and safe.
Best wishes to the students who are competing in the Maths competition at Heights College this week. I’m sure they will represent the school exceptionally and display the Joey’s spirit. Thanks to Catherine Farr and Alice Wayman for helping prepare the students for this event.
During Term 4 we will again be collecting for our Vinnies Christmas Hampers. Mrs Carter will be getting information out to the school community in the very near future.
Don’t Forget….
Regards
