Dear Parents & Guardians

A reminder that the P&F AGM will be held this evening in the school library. All are welcome to attend. Details of the P&F Executive positions that will be finalised tonight will be published in the newsletter next week.

As mentioned last week, please return the pink ‘Confirmation of Enrolment 2023’ and yellow ‘Updated Contacts’ forms that were sent home recently.

These forms are most important for our future planning and keeping our parent contacts up to date.

Nominations for our school swimming carnival were sent home last Friday. Please return these nomination forms as soon as possible as we prepare for the carnival next week.

Preparations are underway for our annual Presentation Night that will be held on the Thursday evening of the second last week of school (24th November). Your child’s teachers will let you know if there is any specific dress theme needed for their performance. On this night we will be presenting our major yearly awards as well as having festive themed performances from Kindy all the way through to Year 6. This is always one of the biggest nights on the Joey’s calendar.

A reminder that we are collecting items for our Christmas Hampers to help with Vinnies Christmas Appeal. We are aiming for an item a week per student during this time. If you can, please remember this when doing your weekly shopping.

We will be holding a special Remembrance Day assembly this Friday as we pay our respects to those who fought in the many conflicts around the world to protect the freedoms that we enjoy today. LEST WE FORGET.
